Then once you have their email address in your autoresponder account, you can direct them anywhere you like -- to your blog, to your own product offers, or to affiliate offers elsewhere.
The key to getting new subscribers fast is to offer them something VALUABLE and EASILY CONSUMABLE as an "ethical bribe" to join your mailing list.
